The Found Love

But he comes. He still comes. He always comes. He runs, hastening. He flies over the seas, he crosses the mountains. He covers like a lightning the distance that divides our hearts. There he lays again the dew of heaven, the purifying oil, the vivifying scent. Then the sea of our hearts soothes itself. Our soul becomes like the one of the weaned child. We sleep peacefully. We drink each day at a fresh water. The pure water, the true treasure. Water which is like the dew of heaven, that we shall gather every morning in the palm of our hands, before the heat of the day makes it disappear, before the ardor of the sun takes it away from our eyes. One drop of this water makes fertile the vast expanse of our hearts.

We know now, because we have tasted. We are loved. Our life is precious. We are born, carried to the land of freedom. So it was true, what have the true witnesses told us. Let's climb on the mountain, let's contemplate the extent of happiness, let's scrutinize the distant horizon of our hearts. We are alive!
