About the Book
B.B. Hankins served as a pastor and spiritual father for fifty-five years. He accepted a call to a church of twenty-five people in West Columbia, Texas in 1954, and by the 1980’s the church had nine-hundred and fifty in weekly attendance. The amazing thing is that the population of West Columbia is only forty-five hundred people. Success in Ministry is a collection of his teachings and sermons that he taught at his spiritual sons’ meetings and preached at his church. This book contains timeless principles of ministry that will benefit both those who serve in vocational ministry and those who minister on a volunteer basis.
About the Author
Bob Hankins is the son of B.B. Hankins and the senior pastor of the Gulf Coast Christian Center in West Columbia, Texas. Bob served as an associate pastor for his father for four years before becoming the senior pastor after his father's passing to heaven. He holds a BBA degree from Texas Wesleyan University and a BS in pastoral ministry from Southwestern University. Prior to answering a call to ministry, Bob had a career in business. He has served as a senior pastor of two different churches for nineteen years and as a youth and associate pastor for eight years.
