About the Author
Writing was never on JB’s bucket list. After all, she was a teacher, not a writer. She dismissed every suggestion to the contrary until two days after her seventy-first birthday.
That was the day she gave the storyline in her head permission to exit. Callie’s Treasures was the result. After months of numerous revisions and several public readings, she entered the world of self-publishing at the urging of those who heard or read the story. The sequel, Jake and Josie’s Discovery, followed the next year. And now Katie’s Surprise joins the list.
JB acknowledges her lack of professional training and regrets any migraines her work gives professional editors. As she continues to delve into this unexpected, late-life adventure, she is hopeful the level of her skill increases.
Meanwhile, she prays the truths embedded in the stories—the reason she writes—touch hearts and generate hope to the hurting and gratitude to the healed. JB and her husband of fifty-one years live on a small farm in Rutherford County, Tennessee.
