Man became Satan's pawn in his spiritual war with God. By appealing to man's freedom of choice, he was able to separate man from his Creator. Through this action, Satan brought both spiritual death and physical death into the world bringing it under God's condemnation. The world had a beginning, and now under God's wrath, it will have an ending. God's wrath could have been immediate, but two factors prevented this from happening. One, God's love for man was so great that he provided a way for his salvation through redemption, and two, Satan was created eternal, he could not be destroyed, his eternal internment of condemnation had yet to be made. The instant man fell into sin's entrapment and bondage to Satan, God prepared the way for man's reconciliation before him. He would raise leaders and nations to set the stage for a twofold strategy. The first phase would bring about a path for man's redemption through the birth and work of his Son, and the second phase would bring his creation to a fiery ending and an eternal judgment. God's gift of his Son, man's Savior, accomplished all the work that he was sent to do in the first phase of God's strategy. He defeated Satan and deprived him of his power over sin and death providing the pathway for man's salvation through faith. With the first phase completed. God set a time line for the second portion of his strategy. It now appears that this world is reaching it's end destination and is facing God's fiery wrath and a final judgment. All the signs given by God's Son to his disciples earmarking the approaching time for earth's fiery judgment have appeared. Satan is well aware of these signs announcing his doom and the ending of his kingdom of darkness on this earth. In desperation, he has launched a full scaled war of deception. He is now exerting his full power over man's sinful nature and the results of these efforts are being clearly seen at the present time. Satan is convincing man to reject his faith in God and place it in himself. The concepts of humanism has become the new religion. Through progressive liberalism, a faux faith has been established in believing that humans are in control of their own destiny and can create an utopia that can satisfy all their wants, needs, and desires. This quickening of Satan's activity is a positive indicator that the judgment of this world is emanate. There will be an ending and there will be a judgment. Where have you placed your faith? Where will you stand in God's final judgment?

Satan’s Global Change before God’s Fiery Judgment by Jack Hermes is a modern-day attempt of what the apostle Paul did at the Areopagus in Acts 17:22–34, by taking his readers from the things they know to the things they do not know. Through this book, Jack uses the beliefs of our society and the scientific community as a springboard to ultimately point them to the truth of Jesus Christ and the salvation he won for us on the cross. As the book progresses, Jack works to correct the misconceptions of how the world will end and the reason for its demise.

The Old and New Testaments were written over a period of one thousand six hundred years by forty writers of various backgrounds from many different countries, making it a historical document of continuity. These biblical writings contain one thousand eight hundred seventeen prophecies. One thousand two hundred thirty-nine are found in the Old Testament with five hundred seventy-eight being recorded in the New Testament. Through archaeological findings, historical tablets of Assyria, Babylon, Persia, and Greece and Roman history, God has fulfilled every prophecy recorded in the Old Testament. With the expansion of the Middle East, the development of Western and Eastern Europe, and the colonization of the New World, God has carried out the majority of the New Testament prophecies and now appears to be bringing to light through the happenings of today the prophecies for Satan’s defeat, his eternal internment, and the fiery ending for this world and his kingdom of darkness. The writings of this book have verified the validity of God’s written Word as he raised nations and leaders to fulfill his promise for man’s salvation and prepared the pathway for Satan’s defeat.
About the Author
Jack C. Hermes, 89, of North Street, Michigan, is a lifelong biblical scholar. He studied for the ministry as a young man at a Lutheran ministerial prep college in Fort Wayne, Indiana, but decided he would meet more people in need of hearing the Good News as a Christian businessman in the secular world than he would as a pastor. He has continued to study Scripture through the years, delving deeply into its meaning and amassing a personal library of theological commentary. He leads in-home Bible studies and is a leader at his church, Holy Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church in Port Huron, Michigan. He and his wife, Helen, have traveled the world, including visiting Europe, Italy, Eastern Europe, Malta, and China. This is Mr. Hermes’s second book. He wrote his first, A Life Guided and Blessed by God, as a memoir for his five children, sixteen grandchildren, and many, many great-grandchildren.
