What Is Victory? Do We Need It?
Victory is a precious gift from God to us, His children, that will bless us tremendously. Webster’s Dictionary tells us that victory is success in overcoming and defeating an opponent or enemy, achieving mastery, or having success in overcoming difficulties or obstacles. The Baker’s Evangelical Dictionary says victory comes from the Lord, a claim of the Old Testament writers that is backed up by Scripture: “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith” (1 John 5:4 KJV). Victory was created by God, and whoever is born of God already has it. It comes in many forms; having faith is one of them. The Bible is a book of faith, truth, and prophecy backed up by proof, which you can learn by reading it. Biblically, victory is success as the result of mental, physical, or spiritual warfare alone or with others on one accord.
Do you need victory in your life? I’ll let you be the judge of that. We all struggle with life’s burdens, trials, and tribulations, problems seen and unseen. Some of them we didn’t ask for, and many we can’t solve by ourselves; we need help. Have you ever experienced depression, loneliness, or loss of hope or felt you were in a dark place? Are you going through fear, poverty, bondage, pain, or defeat? If you have experienced or are experiencing these feelings or have been in dark places, it’s time to learn how to overcome them.

Victory is a special gift from God. Because we are always looking for help and hope in troubled times, God has made provisions for us in advance. God knew there would be many circumstances and issues that would be difficult for us to handle and solve on our own. Victory is a secret weapon that can be use in any situation. It is yours. Try it and see. It will never let you down.

As a true believer in Christ Jesus this book was written through faith, experience and the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. We are to be living testimonies to the word of God and finding Victory is my testimony. It changed my life forever. It will change yours too. Through my experiences I have learned the true meaning of God’s love, power, strength, protection and healing- which is needed for our souls. As a Pastor, preacher and teacher of the gospel I have been called by God to bring hope and encouragement to all believers and non-believers. I believe this book will empower and inspire all readers, young and old.
