With Christ It All Does Matter

It seems that everything in life (including ourselves) matter, except for God's Word of Truth. Individually, and collectively, we are searching for some type (or form) of truth that appeals to our pleasure and desires of life; or elevating ourselves in materialistic things, position, and status. Unconsciously, we are proclaiming who we are being equal to Christ, or above God. Even when questioned about the Word of God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit; there are those who have said, "It does not matter." This is no more further from the truth. All things are based upon the foundation of God's Word of Truth. However, this world system continues to build itself upon selfish thoughts, emotional desires, and to achieve worldly benefits. This temporary satisfaction will only last for the moment. God has already been tearing down these structures, and turning right-side up all things that have been turned upside down. You see, it does matter.

As Christians, we must search the Scriptures, with the help of the Holy Ghost, to obtain a clearer understanding of God's Word. For all truth shall be revealed according to the authority, power, purpose, and plan of God given through His Spirit - the Holy Ghost. The Apostle Paul said, "All [Every holy] scripture is given by the inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works" (Ephesians 3:16,17 KJV). God's people have been conditioned, controlled, conformed, converted, and compromised into various types of doctrinal beliefs; which is a form of God's Word of Truth, in order to fit into another hierarchy of man's power. These religious beliefs and denominational doctrines have established their own set of laws, decrees, and rules by instituting what is to be called: P.A.P.S. (Programs, Agendas, Plans, and Self-centeredness); along with their traditional values under certain guidelines, and ordinances to promote their particular doctrine.

In addition, I believe that there is a great dilemma in the spiritual growth of Christians today. Far too often, we have allowed someone else to dictate (or tell) us what scriptures mean without checking it out for ourselves. God does send His chosen vessels to preach and to teach us His Word (Ephesians 4:11); however, we are still held accountable and responsible for knowing it ourselves (2 Timothy 2:15). Why? The Apostle John said, "Beloved, believe [trust] not every spirit, but try [prove] the spirits whether they are of God: because many false [deceiving] prophets are gone out into the world" (1 John 4:1 KJV). So, how can you try, test, or believe another? Unless you are truly connected to the Spirit of God - the Holy Ghost - you will never know.

Christian Education/Bible Study is vitally important for your spiritual growth. Yet, it has become more of a formality, or another type of preaching (or lecture). Besides, it is the least emphasized in the body of Christ. It is very limited in its scope of teaching as it pertains to God's Word of Truth. Year after year, what has been presented, in biblical teaching, are the presumed basic fundamental principles, which are repeatedly spoken to the same group of people. There is very little to understanding & substance applied to the framework for one's spiritual growth and maturity.
