There is but one remedy to the massive decline in the church’s influence and authority to shape society: a return to God’s word as found in the scriptures.
About the Author
Rev. Ned Owens has over 50 years in the ministry. An ordained United Methodist minister, Rev. Owens career began in the 1960’s, just when many of the poisons he discusses began entering into the church. He graduated from Gardner-Webb University with an associates degree in 1963; from High Point University in 1966 with a B.A. in religion; and received his Master of Divinity from Emory Candler School of Theology in 1969.
