GO AND TELL
Luke 8:39 ...describe what great things God has done for you…
When was the last time you told someone what great things God did for you when He saved you? Christians call this their testimony. For the man possessed by the legion of demons in Luke 8, the moment Jesus exorcised the evil spirits and saved the man, he asked Jesus if he could be part of the band of disciples. But Jesus told him to go home and tell people that Jesus saved him. Not many Christians get to take their testimonies on the road, sharing it at a crusade or on television, but all Christians are told to go and tell.
Wow! What a story this man had to tell . . . once shackled to demons, then set free by the Lord. Actually, however, every Christian has a story to tell. It may not be as dramatic as this man’s testimony, but every Christian’s testimony is unique and powerful. You see, the power of our testimony does not rest on the drama, but rather, on the power of our salvation centered in God saving us . . . sinners in need of mercy and grace. Go and tell!

About the Author
Author David Gundrum is an ordained pastor with the Bible Fellowship Church (BFC) denomination and served for fifteen years as a pastor in two BFC churches. For the past sixteen years he has served as Director of Church Extension Ministries for the BFC, its church planting department. He attended Lancaster Bible College and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Bible. He graduated from Westminster Seminary in Philadelphia, PA, where he received his Master degrees. He is adjunct professor in the Bible & Theology department at Lancaster Bible College and serves on the college’s Corporation Board. David is President of Change Point Coaching and holds coaching certification from IPEC Coaching and The International Coaching Federation.
David is married to Donna and they reside in Adamstown, PA.
