About the Author
As an elementary school teacher, my biggest thrill was seeing the “light bulb” go on—the moment your student understands the material and “gets it”. This is why I chose to write a children’s book. I wanted children to experience the characters and engage in the story line and “gets it”.
As a grandmother, I wrote each grandchild a book to remember me.
My husband, who is a pastor, and I live in Dorr, Michigan. Together for thirty-seven years we have had the privilege to serve our savior, Jesus Christ.
In 2004, I received a double lung transplant. I have been blessed with twelve years of God’s grace. Through my books, I wish to spread awareness of the importance of organ donation. It is a gift of life.
