About the Author
Hlelolwenkhosi Mamba is a goal-driven young person who believes all things are attainable if you reach for them. She believes in dreaming, but she also knows by experience that no matter how brilliant a dream might be, it will remain only a dream as long as the dreamer decides to sleep a little longer. This book is the product of her dreaming and then waking up to make that dream a reality. She is passionate about her writing and always strives to make all things simple, easy to understand, and straight to the point.
She loves young people, and having worked with them for quite some time now, (as youth leader in her local church, as president of Student Christian Movement (SCM), Kwaluseni Campus, and as general secretary of Scripture Union’s National Associate Committee), she strongly believes that young people are not a problem but a solution, as long as they get the tender care and grooming they need. In pursuit of her passion to empower young people and to minister to their special needs, she has written this book and dedicates it to every young person who intends living life as per God’s master plan. She mentors young people of all ages and from different walks of life. Speaking of her mentees, she says, “These young souls just help to keep me at my best at all times. Because you know, as a young person, you sometimes feel that you can just grow horns and be wild. But knowing that I have innocent souls looking up to me, it persuades me to be the best always, whether in the presence of any one of them or when I am alone. This is because I believe that even if they don’t see me, they have a share of my spirit by virtue of association; physical distance is not an issue. I never want to see one of them led astray on my account. It would break my heart. I have no greater joy than helping a young person to sail safely through the journey of life.”
