126. Build Your House upon the Rock
My child, I say to you, come to Me and build your house upon the rock of My words—My truth and My gospel. Build your life upon the Rock and you will not fear the coming storms because your house shall have a strong foundation and you will stand.
I have given you My Word to use skillfully to defeat the enemy of your soul. Does not the good swordsman know how to use his sword correctly and effectively? So also you must know My Word, come before Me in humility, seek Me with your whole heart, and walk uprightly before Me. Then you will understand Me and know My ways. Then you will walk in My grace to comprehend and live My Word.
In the coming trials, some will be offended because of difficulties. Others will be offended because of the holiness and righteousness of the gospel. You do have an enemy. Satan is a thief who will lie, steal, kill, and destroy. Hear what I say to you. Be of good heart and know My Word. By My Spirit and by My truth you shall be free. Overcome, My little ones. Overcome. I have made provision for you to overcome.
Those who hear and obey My words shall stand and not be moved. Come to Me and learn how to build your life—your house—upon the Rock.

Vickie Brooks graduated from Indiana University in education. But she chose to teach in a one-room school—the family room! The family moved to a hobby farm. Vickie heard the sounds of chickens, goats, and horses. The garden was quiet. There she began listening and hearing in a new way.
