A Walk Through Faith

It is also very important that when we pray, we pray in the Spirit, and we plead the blood of Jesus over our minds, our hearts, and our entire beings. Pleading the blood of Jesus really means claiming the power in Christ that we all have as believers. Just as it says in Ephesians 1:7 (NIV): “In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace.” And 1 John1:7 (NIV) says, “But if we walk in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.” Jesus is the light, and the light resides in us, in all believers that have received Him. His blood continues to cleanse us and purifies us of all sin past, present, and future.

As long as we are living here on earth, we have the opportunity to accept Jesus into our hearts and lives. It doesn’t matter where you are in your faith walk or what your current circumstances are. The invitation is for everyone who wishes to accept it. He will teach you and guide you into all truth and understanding. He is the author and finisher of your faith, and if He starts a good work in you, He will see it to the end. He is the only one that can give you complete deliverance, and what He has done for me, He can do for you too. Jesus came into the world to set the captives free. If you are being held captive spiritually, mentally, or physically, know that there is a way out. Matthew 11:28 (NLT): “Then Jesus said, Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”
