“I’d like to weave you memories, I’d like to spin you dreams.
With words to paint a tapestry of all life’s hopes and schemes.
Sweet songs of love I’d like to sing your senses to beguile.
But most of all I’d like to bring you laughter for a while.
For dreams are passing things I fear, hope is often all too fleeting
So many loves end with a tear, despite fond heart’s entreating.
And memories gain their rosy hue, when reality’s long gone.
So smiles are what I’d bring to you and laughter from now on”.
All my love my darling Jayne,
David.”
You can have the most fantastic, romantic, amazing relationship with another human being. But even the best of these, where you believe God or fate has brought you together and has given you to one another will end because all human relationships end. One of you has to go first. What do you do when you are the one left behind? How do you reconcile loss and grieving with trust and hope in a loving God in that place of devastation? It is only through intimacy with Jesus Christ as the only one who really understands what it is like to lose your Beloved and only Him who knows how to bring such reconciliation. I discovered that God speaks to us all, all of the time. We know it is God's voice when it matches up with Holy Scripture. Not just the letter of the Law but the Spirit also.
I sometimes think it is funny that we understand international time zones throughout the world and plan our movement between them accordingly. But very few of us take time to think about God's supernatural timetable and His Heavenly time zones. God speaks to us from His time, which is out of time, but we often re format His speaking to us, to get His word to fit into our time. And that is when it is all too easy to lose sight of Him altogether. When we pause and ask Him to help us understand His time perspective - well that is when our adventure really begins. We have all the time in and out of this world available to us. Jayne.
The Lover: It was a feeling I had never felt before, a recognition of shared knowing each other. An invisible union, a wholeness and unity coming together in one look. A soul connection. I never dreamed this could happen to me.
Your love and your friendship are beyond anything I could have hoped for. Thank you Jesus.
David
The Beloved: My beautiful David, I am the rib removed from your side and by His grace God has brought us together, joined us together as one again. An indescribable peacefulness has come to me also. I cannot describe it.
For us to meet now, at this time, is incredible. For two people who feel the same oneness, at the same time, to meet here in this place and find each other such easy company, is rest to my soul. It is so easy to engage with you. It is a sweet surrender to a beautiful peacefulness.
What a gift, to see one another as the Father sees us; transparent, nothing hidden no shadows in your eyes, only acceptance, agreement and rest, drawn to one another. Come closer.
“As the apple tree among the trees of the wood so is my beloved among the sons. I sat down under his shadow with great delight, and his fruit was sweet to my taste”.
Song of Solomon 2 (KJV)

The Lover: Thank you Lord for loving me so much that you allowed me to meet my loving sister Jayne my friend, my beloved. Thank you my beloved, that you have helped me meet my God and know His love for me.
My beloved, you are the only one for me, I want you, I need you, it is you and only you, my sister, my lover, my friend. I open my heart to you and offer from within what God has put inside of me, a deposit of His love, my devotion, my desire to know you, to honour you.
Let the only debt I owe, be to love you, deeply from my heart. I have never known this feeling; you are so beautiful. I never want to lose this.
David.
