About the Book

We can all form an unbreakable bond with God. But to do so, we must first enter into a deep and lasting relationship with him. Read, ponder, and pray for guidance from God. Seek to grow in knowledge and understanding of his ways. Then apply lessons from the Bible to our daily routines. Commit to God’s love, grace, and wisdom. Be inspired by his word in the Bible, and draw closer to him.

In Encountering God, author Marsha Glynn offers daily reflections that will help fellow believers draw closer to God through words and deeds. After years of reaching out to God through prayer and reading the Bible, Marsha was inspired to share her heart and soul and offer a collection of Bible verses and reflections that bring reassurance of God’s never-ending love, his comfort, and the hope only he can provide.

The bond that Marsha has with God is unbreakable. Learn how she developed this bond and has come to believe all things come from God. He makes good come from every experience. We can all be transformed by his love.

About the Author

In 2007, Marsha Glynn experienced what every parent fears, the tragic death of her seventeen-year-old son. Her life was never the same. Living in darkness and grief and with limited hope, she wrote a memoir about the weeks surrounding his death. Writing provided a lifeline and a means to express her feelings of grief.

After writing, Shattered Pieces of My Heart, Marsha reached for the Bible, read scripture every day and prayed. Thoughts began to take hold and she saw glimpses of hope. Not wanting to forget the messages God placed on her heart, she began to write Encountering God.

Before the death of her son, Marsha worked as an elementary school principal. She earned a doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University in FL and masters’ degrees from The Citadel in SC. She is married to the love of her life, Ray, and has one other son, Rob, working as a musician in Austin, TX. They make their home in Texas.
