With Arms Open Wide

There’s nothing you can mess up that God can’t make right

You are made holy, sanctified by the blood of Christ

When God says something, it stands forever

Circumstances may change, but God will never

Never move from His word, He and His Word are one

When He spoke the words, the thing He said is done

He is not a human that He should lie

He is the same every day, on Him you can rely

If He declared you righteous, it wasn’t just for today

No sin you commit will wipe the blood of Jesus away

It is there on the mercy seat, one time for all

The blood of Jesus Christ is more than powerful

It is everlasting, backed up by His word

It is His love, sent to cleanse the earth

Every creation He wants to retrieve

The blood of Jesus cleanses those who believe

God’s Arms are Open Wide

Behavior matters, not gonna say it doesn’t

But it doesn’t start there, it starts at covenant

You confess the word and receive Jesus as Lord

Do it voluntarily, He’s not gonna take you by force

Believe in your heart that Jesus was raised from the dead

Resurrection is possible for you, get it through your head

Resurrection happens at the new birth

Righteousness in God’s presence, like it was at first

Truth is what everyone seeks, some just don’t know

His word has the answers you seek, so give it a go

What you see in the world has your mind messed up

Turn the world upside down by getting yourself confessed up

You gotta play the game, but it’s time to change the game

It’s not about behavior, but power in the Lord’s name

Jesus gave it to you and backed it with heaven’s authority

But you backed away from it, and backed away from His reality

You got back in the world’s game, tossing balls at the net

Jesus urged you to remember Him, but you went on to forget

You forgot about the change, that new life inside of you

Not a mixed message, Jesus overpowered the death in you

He overcame that force and dropped it to its knees

Jesus inhabits and abides, not by asking pretty please

Death has to go, in fact, it’s gone now

All enemies under His feet, Jesus doesn’t cow

Be led by the Holy Spirit, and you’ll never go astray

Behavior is not the issue, His power is what overcame

Overcame the grave and brought life forevermore

It’s a done deal, we’re now just adding to the score

Life has issues and difficulties to overcome

You can’t do it on your own, you need an intervention

Game Changer

God’s joy is your strength, it’s rooted in love

Mercy and compassion, whose limits are boundless

Seeds are planted every time a word leaves your mouth

People watch your lifestyle to see what God is about

You represent Jesus as priests and ambassadors

You are in charge, so be bold in recognizing your source

Peace rules in your heart, judging like an umpire

The New Covenant is patience, not a consuming fire

Patience is a long-term strategy and not just for today

God longs for His creation to come near, for everyone to be saved

He forgives your sins and remembers them no more

The choice He made to fellowship, to never close the door

People do stupid things, they stumble, and some fall

God’s heart forgives and forgets, His love is eternal

He chose you from the beginning to be like Him eternally

The life you live, every deed, is a reflection of His glory

Love does good to a neighbor and does him no harm

Does not retaliate, but embraces him with open arms

Kindness to a stranger is kindness on God’s behalf

Gives you His identification, taking a step on His path

Sowing Seed

Grace is God’s anointing to destroy the yoke

That opens your eyes to understand the hope

Grace shows the power that raised Jesus from the dead

And imparts the fruit of the spirit when you’re born again

Your words speak it and then grace brings it to pass

Grace opens the heavenly gates to the righteous

It is forgiveness of all sins past, present, and future

Imparts His word and builds you up like a booster

God’s grace is abundance, the blessing went forth

When He spoke to Adam, grace was the source

It is His grace that led Abram from his home

Grace that gave Solomon the wisdom

That led Jehoshaphat into battle

The choir in front, their nerves not rattled

Grace covered Adam and Eve in the garden

And gave the Israelites the Ten Commandments

The blood of goats and calves never did satisfy Him

The blood of Jesus covered the mercy seat in heaven

Grace accepted His death for all humankind

And sent the Holy Spirit to you, you’re forever entwined

His grace forgives you and overcomes every sin

Even the sins of the sinners have been forgiven

When you hit the wall and tried everything to succeed

Cry out to Jesus, grace and more grace is what you need

Grace is His love and is never diminished

It’s the power you need, the works are not yet finished

Grace is for the humble and those willing to receive

It’s the talent Jesus placed in those who believe

It’s the opposite of works, to the spirit we yield

Grace is His covering and acts as a shield

It’s the prompt from the Spirit to give

When your flesh is weak, God’s grace is sufficient

Grace through faith is what moves mountains

Faith is the channel that receives, no doubtin’

Grace flows like oil through the lamp

It’s the rod in your back that stiffens you to stand

Grace is God’s love without partiality

Extended to everyone, just receive

God has mountains of grace stored up for you
