Chapter Three: Something’s missing
Don’t you hate when you’re putting a huge puzzle together and you get to the end only to realize a piece is missing? You never realized it at first. It will never be complete or finished without that missing piece. It will bring no satisfaction or joy, just disappointment and a lot of time and energy wasted. But you know life goes on. There are people signing up for college this year to seek their career. Some seek a great job, maybe a relationship that leads to marriage. Add a house, a baby and two dogs. Looks like no missing pieces in this situation, right? What makes a person completely satisfied in life? A spouse, house, kids and two dogs? Maybe. But there’s a lot of people who just might say after five to ten years they’re not happy and need more or somethings different. Can you relate? Earlier we read about that puzzle being put together not knowing it was missing that one piece to make it complete. You see, sometimes we achieve everything in life that makes us so happy. But we’re missing that one thing that brings us joy. Hmmm, a moment of silence. Some people might spend a million dollars for happiness and pay no attention to joy which is free. You’ll understand that later. Anyway, on with the big search.

About the Book
The first book I have ever read from cover to cover was the Bible, which led me to different types of ministries in my Christian walk.
In 2010 I was teaching a men’s Bible study, and the topic of this particular study was called sitting on Jesus’s lap—a place where you can go when life takes you on a roller coaster.
As humans, we can find ourselves living a so-called life that leads to emptiness, no matter how much power we possess on earth.
About the Author
I was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. I grew up in a big family, that consisted of three boys and three girls. I weighed in at a pound and half at birth with a small chance to live, but I’m here today alive and well. As a teenager I gave my life to Christ and desired to live for him, that’s when life became challenging! Now looking back at my past, i am amazed on how Christ transformed my life. “ Thanks be to God”
