When we think of the Great Tribulation written about in Matthew Chapter 24, it stirs up a great deal of emotions: fear, anxiety, dread and sadness. God reveals this time as great tribulation such as was not since the time of the beginning of the world to this time, nor ever shall be. As Christians, we tend to place these events as a time not for us, the church (born again believers in Christ Jesus) However, if we carefully study the scriptures, we find Christians right in the middle of this horrific time of great tribulation, serving our Great God during a great revival. Growing up in a Christian home, I started reading and studying the Bible at an early age. In my teenage years, I was so interested in the things of God. I remember reading Revelation and trying to figure out all the deep things that God was showing John in these 22 chapters— letters he wrote to the churches, angelic beings, sealed books, seals, vials, trumpets, beasts and Satan’s role during this time of tribulation. I never could understand any of it. I just knew that God had given us these future events in preparation for something to fulfill His awesome plan for humanity. Many years have gone by since that time, but I never lost the passion or the desire to keep seeking and searching. Some of you may find this uncomfortable at first, as we search the scripture together and see in the word of God how we, the church, are used by God to reach a world in need during this time. However, we must not be discouraged or afraid. We must put on the armor of God.

America and the Church in the Great Tribulation is designed to reach a world looking for answers about present and future events that God wants us to understand. In His Word, He describes events that we are to be aware of as we enter such times as these, so that we, the believers, can prepare, be wise and helpful, and instruct many for such a time as this.
About the Author
Kathy has had numerous encounters with many interesting people throughout her lifetime, being involved in churches, teaching Sunday school, teaching preschool, earning her cosmetology and cosmetology instructor licenses, teaching cosmetology, owning a country convenience store and two successful restaurants, teaching food safety classes and workshops on how to start a business, going out of the country on mission trips to Nicaragua, China, and Israel, and having a plethora of friends from all over the south. Kathy has a passion for Christ and for the word of God and a passion to see Christians everywhere become serious about the things of God and to see America turn back to God.
Kathy is an active member at Sand Hill Baptist Church in Ellisville, Mississippi. She also serves as a ministry assistant at Indian Springs Baptist Church in Laurel, Mississippi. She is the wife of Michael, the mother of two grown daughters, and Nana to Olivia, Harlee, and Scarlett, the joys of her life.
