GOD'S ROLE
Why should we fret
Over things we don't need?
When all we can use
God provides to us free
He made us and loves us
the way we should be
and provides all our needs
before them we see.
He is the Provider
above all in our mind.
Our Lord Jesus provides us
with more than we find.
In the Presence of Jesus
all else we forget
as we become lost
in the depth of respect
Christ's Mighty Presence
will hold us in Praise
and give us the Knowledge
"He alone is the Way"
A Way to be happy
and never know fear.
A Peace overflowing!
Constant; Year after Year.
Deep in the knowledge
"He has Full Control"
Is dependence on Him;
to fulfill His Role.

Kaki Burns first began receiving thoughts in verse from God in the 1980s. In her first collection of poems developed over three decades, Burns encourages others to look toward God for guidance, love, and eternal salvation.
Within introspective and inspiring reflections, Burns lyrically explores ways to come to know God and repent sins, embrace God’s compassion, and find direction in life through God’s unconditional love. Burns’s poems address the importance of following God’s plan, praying to express gratitude and find strength during challenging times, and serving God in all aspects of life.

Kaki Burns is guided by the Lord to both write and share original poetry. She currently resides in Lake Butler, Florida. Thoughts to Share is her first book of poems.
