Chapter ten notes, that the media has played addicts like we are the worst of the worst. When you stick with your sobriety you will discover that you can't talk about it to just anyone because of this prejudice. Sad but true. the truth is that there are many good people that become addicts and we can learn from the ones that have now recovered. I had a good friend that was in a severe car accident and while in the hospital was treated so appallingly that I was personally embarrassed not by her but for the ones Caring for her. I thought being in complete recovery was a great thing, and a reason to hold our heads high. It is, but we still need to be careful as to whom we talk about this with. Use some discretion when needed but always be proud of who you are. Success lies not in being the best, but in doing your best. No matter how far down we have been, there's still a way to the top. Our support system is a key element. Family is more important than we may perceive. Whatever we have may been through in the past, it's just that, in the past. So smile and forget those days because God has. He has put them into the deepest sea never to be found again. He loves us so lets learn to love ourselves.

About the Book
It’s Your Turn was written to emphasize how family members can be able to meaningfully communicate and bridge that gap between active addicts and their loving family members, letting them know that there is always hope for those whose love and patience has been tested and possibly damaged. So let the healing begin.
About the Author
Sheila M. Moss was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma by her Grandparents until the age of eleven at which time she and her sister were allowed to live with their natural mother in California. That was when she started using drugs for recreation. While traveling throughout the United States dipping into the wild selection of drugs and the differences of the worlds thereof. After total and absolute devastation, she has come forward in her sobriety to help teach others how to bridge the communication gap between active users and their loving families and to let it be known just how important the family ties are to one another. Sheila has followed the road of the judicial system to earn more than seventeen certificates and the knowledge to teach any who may be ready to listen and have the desire to reunite the power of love and devotion between family members. She now resides in the small town of Bennington in Oklahoma.
