About the Book
Faith UnBrOkEn listens to Oscar Williams tell the story of his life. Raised by his mother after his father died in the war in Iraq, he became an orphan at ten when she died of cancer. This novel, written by Arthur Dunlap Jr., brings this boy to life through his narrative of his journey along a path that reached both the heights of hope and the depths of sadness.
As he weathered life’s ups and downs, Oscar comes to trust the guidance he had received from his aunt after his mother died. Oscar tells his story, saying, “My aunt used to tell me, ‘When all is lost, you can always turn to God.’ She said things will happen in this life that we may not understand, but we have to continue to believe in God, have faith in him, and let his will be done.”
