At the age of eighty-five, Ann Zwemer looked back on her life and then . . . forward. Eighty-five was new and exciting territory for her and her family. She’d never been eighty-five before; what was she to do? What could she do? Feeling inspired and eager for new experiences, she decided to write, and so was born an unconventional collection.

But Wait! . . . There’s More ponders the question of age. As we age, what challenges do we face? Life can take many unexpected turns, especially as we deal with an empty nest, living alone, physical disability, and changes in mood. This special book is intended for seniors as they meet and cope with physical, emotional, and spiritual challenges.

Ann believes in a deep and unwavering Christian mission to inspire, teach, and uplift. Her poems are easy to read and fun to return to again and again. Deep in the recesses of our minds, many of us fear old age, but there’s no need. Every day we are alive is another day to accomplish something new. Never forget: there is always another adventure!

About the Author

Ann Zwemer, BA, RN, MSC, is a published author of poetry, prose, and educational nursing texts. She spent eight years in India with her family as a missionary nurse for the Reformed Church in America. For the past sixteen years, she has attended the Braille Institute in San Diego and served as a volunteer teacher. She lives in California.
