This book is written with the hope that churches, if not done so already, will develop a security and safety plan and that schools take measures to keep our children safe if not done so already, and that we as individuals train ourselves to be ALERT and AWARE of our surroundings at all times. I pray that in writing this that it may help in the safety and security in the church, even if in just a small way; and not only in the church, but in our everyday lives. I feel compelled to do something. Writing and publishing this book is something I can do.

About the Author
Darrin Lee Pruett was born and raised in Arkansas. He grew up in the country and in and around small towns in both the Mississippi River Delta and the Ozarks. At the age of seventeen, he graduated from high school and joined the US Marine Corps. He is a Christian and loves the Lord God Almighty and His Son, the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Pruett is the husband to a beautiful Ghanaian Queen, the father of six children, two of which have gone home to the Lord, and he is also a proud grandfather.
