It is the beginning of a new day ...A fresh Start! If you didn't like the way yesterday went it's a chance to do something different, to do better.
I heard a saying once: "If you woke up today with only the things you thanked God for yesterday, what would you have?"
Think about that for a minute. What would you have? Would you have your kids, your spouse, or your parents? What about your home, car, food, or the clothes on your back? When was the last time you really thanked God for all that He has provided for you? It is easy to take for granted the blessings that we are surrounded by every day.
Start something new! Begin each day by giving thanks to the Lord. Count your blessings and name them one by one. Write them down in a journal. Start a new habit of writing in it daily, beginning with what you are thankful for. It will make your problems look much smaller.

Jacklin and her husband, Rusty, have been married for over 22 years and have three daughters. Jacklin has been involved in Women’s Ministry for over 10 years and enjoys teaching on Church Administration in person and on her website (shiningwithsparkle.com).
