About the Book
Have you ever wondered what it would have been like to be a soldier assigned to guard the apostle Paul? The Light Will Come takes you into the world of ancient Rome and imagines the shock of such an assignment on Paulus, a Roman soldier, and his family. He is a witness to the many visitors to Paul during his last days and hears parts of his final letters to the churches Paul has founded. With a backdrop of Emperor Nero’s reign, the great fire of Rome, and the wide-ranging power of the Roman Empire, the book shows some of the joys, triumphs, and tragedies of the first-century “Christ followers” as seen through the eyes of Paulus.
