Jesus was sent down from heaven as the Son of God to save sinners. He demonstrated his love by healing the sick and broken-hearted. Jesus took our sickness and removed our diseases (Matthew 8:7 NLT). Everywhere Jesus went he healed the sick and cast out demons. Jesus' healing power is demonstrated in the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Healing scriptures: The prayers offered in faith will heal the sick (James 5:15 NLY). Your have been healed by his wounds (1 Peter 2:24 NLT). He heals the broken-hearted, bind up their wounds (Psalm 147:3 NLT). Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed (James 5:16 NLT). The Word of God is health to a person's whole body. Confess the Word of God over your health.
There is no other way to receive salvation and go to heaven but through Jesus Christ. God in his wisdom set in motion his plan and will for us to be a part of heaven.
God made us in three parts: body, soul, and spirit. God designed your body to house the Spirit of God. We all know that your body will die, but your soul and spirit will live forever.
Your soul is your inner most being consisting of your mind, will, and emotions. Your soul needs salvation to be with God in heaven. But God has given us a free will to choose good or evil. You can choose Jesus to be your savior or face the consequences with Satan.
You were born with a spirit that gives life to your body. Your spirit will live forever. You choose where your spirit is going - heaven or hell.
The Bible instructs us to seek the Kingdom of God and his righteousness. we are made right with God through faith in Jesus Christ. You can have the Kingdom living in you. The Kingdom of God is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit (Romans 14:17 NIV). The Holy Spirit will lead, guide, and teach you the ways of God.
Things to know about Jesus. He is a real person, history tells us so; our time is measured in B.C. - before Christ and A.D. which is latin for "anno domini" meaning in the year of our Lord. Jesus defeated Satan and gave us back the authority over the earth that Adam once had. Jesus is Lord over the earth. Jesus took all our sins upon his cross and you are set free from the power of the Devil and his forces of evil. Jesus is coming back to judge the living and the dead. Jesus desires to be a part of your life. You can have victory in the name of Jesus. Jesus is always accessible. In Jesus you have power, peace, love, joy, hope, purpose, and eternal life.
The Holy Spirit will convict you of sin in order that you may repent. The Devil will attack you with guilt and condemnation.
The effects of sin in your life:
- Separates you from fellowship with God.
- Causes you to lose your joy, peace, and confidence.
- Becomes a curse in your life.
-Your prayers will not be answered.
- Destroys relationships.
Commandments of Jesus:
- Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and with all your mind.
- Treat others with respect.
- Forgive others.
- Get rid of whatever causes you to sin.
- Don't take revenge.
- Love your enemies and love each others.
- Give to please God.
- Don't worry about your needs.
- Do not judge others.
- Care for the needy.
- Be humble.
- Have faith in God.
- Show mercy.
- Repent.
- Don't be greedy.
- Deny yourself and follow Jesus.
Know who you are in Christ Jesus:
- I can do all things through Christ.
- God's grace and mercy are with me everyday.
- The peace of Jesus Christ lives within me.
- I am a child of God.
- I am a member of the body of Christ.
- I am God's masterpiece.
- I am free from the bondage of sin.
- God's love is always with me.
- My body is a temple of the Holy Spirit.
- With God all things are possible.
- I have angles protecting me.
- No weapon formed against me by the Devil will prosper.
