Liberty of the Spirit

“ … a wise man will hear and increase learning, and a man of understanding will attain wise counsel … The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.” Pv1:5,7. “The mouth of the righteous utters wisdom, and their tongue speaks justice. The law of God is in their heart; none of their steps will slip.” Ps 37:30-31(MEV).
I pray that I am always willing to receive correction and that I am always cognizant that God can speak (and correct) through any thing and any one. I pray that I remain aware of the wisdom and power of God. His desire for me is an increasingly intimate relationship with Him through His Son, Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit. He, however is holy, righteous and just; He, therefore, cannot abide with the sinful desires of the flesh. My heart must be pure and devoid of self-love and self-interested motives. He knows the dark and hidden motives of my heart – even those hidden from myself. I pray that I receive revelation of my own sinful motivations with humility, contrition, repentance and gratitude. Purge me, O God, of anything that is not of You and is not centered on You and Your will. I pray that my tongue is only used to repent, thank, evangelize, edify, exhort, praise or glorify. Fetter my tongue from any idle chatter. Preserve me and empower me to refrain from arrogant speech. In the Name of Jesus. Amen.

“Who can find a virtuous woman? For her worth is far above rubies. The heart of her husband safely trusts in her, so that he will have no lack of gain.” Pv31:10-11(MEV).
I am a member of the body of Christ, the church, His bride. In Christ Jesus we are blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places. The bride of Christ receives the riches of God’s grace so that His manifold wisdom may be made known to the principalities and powers in heavenly places. I am filled with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Christ, energizes me. The Spirit of Christ, the Advocate, enables me to discern the will of Abba Father. The Spirit of Christ, the Paraclete, strengthens me to carry out the will of Father God.
I am the possession of God Almighty. I have been purchased out of slavery to sin and death, paid for with the precious shed blood of King Jesus. The perfect atoning sacrifice of God the Son was my dowry to be made part of His bride, the church. Washed with the blood of the Paschal Lamb I am presented to Him without wrinkle and without blemish.
All blood-bought, born-again, Spirit-filled, Spirit-driven followers of Christ Jesus are raised TOGETHER with Christ. WE are the handiwork of Father God, created in Christ for good works, prepared by God beforehand, that we might walk in them.
Dear Father God, thank You for including me in Your plan for salvation. Thank You for joining me in the body of Christ and raising me together with other faithful in Christ Jesus. Today, please continue to strengthen me to walk in the Way, the Truth and the Life who is King Jesus, Your Son, my Lord and Savior. In the Name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.
