The Diary of a Soldier

Have you ever felt as though your back was up against the wall or that the world was closing in around you; as all hope seemed to be gone? Have you ever wanted to give up because you felt that you had no other choice but to; or perhaps that you were fighting a losing battle? God is bigger than any problem that we may have to face in this world. Therefore, we must not fear and become overwhelmed with things in this life. We must let the power of God from within us; lead and guide us safely through our everyday endeavors. For God's spirit that is within us is far greater than anything that exist here on this earth that challenges us. God will give us the strength that we need to endure anything because, with God all things are possible. Therefore, we must not retreat nor should we surrender to the enemy; for defeat over the enemy is accomplished through knowing Jesus Christ. A true soldier for God will withstand any obstacle that is placed before them; by looking ahead at the bigger picture towards their victory. We must stay focused to our task at hand and push through to reach our heavenly destination. Meanwhile, all negativity is pushed aside as we strive to stay alive while being on this timely journey with the Lord. So, in between-time, rest if you must; but don't retreat and don't surrender!
