About the Author

Martin is a Construction Engineer who dreamed of building bridges and tall buildings. His dreams came true after he finished graduate school and obtained his Engineering license. He worked on the construction of St. Regis San Francisco and the new Bay Bridge. His admission to UC Berkeley and receiving a scholarship from the school were a miracle!
His wife, Wenny, likes to cook and eat delicious food. She is a Sunday school teacher at a local church.
Both were born and raised in Indonesia, and they met thru a mutual friend at church. Together they like traveling, seeing new places, taking photographs, and reading bedtime stories to their children, Chelsea and Peter.

Ariel Hsu is an illustrator, licensing designer and concept artist. She works in both digital and traditional media and likes to simplify some complicated things with shapes and bright colors! Ariel enjoys finding inspiration from nice and kind people, animals and musical shows. Ariel completed her MFA degree of Visual Development and graduated from the Academy of Art University in 2017. She now lives in Taiwan and works as freelance illustrator.
