God Never Makes a Mistake
Sometimes we look around and ask,
“Does God ever make a mistake?”
But then we have to surely know
His purpose is at stake.
We see a little crippled child
And ask, “Did God make a mistake?”
But surely we know He’s sovereign,
And mistakes He doesn’t make.
We see the pain and suffering
That illness will often make.
But we know our God is perfect
And never makes a mistake.
We see the devastation
Of fires, tornadoes, and earthquakes.
But we know in our hearts He’s sovereign,
And God never makes a mistake.
If we know that God is sovereign,
Never wrong and never late,
We have to settle in our minds
That God never makes a mistake.

Jody and her husband, Bob, have been happily married for 43 years. They have four wonderful sons, three beautiful daughters-in-law, and five precious grandchildren.
They live in Shippensburg, PA. They are members of Salem United Brethren Church in Chambersburg, where Jody is the leader of the Prayer Ministry.
