"THE PRAYER WARRIORS FAST"
Exodus 34:27-29 Then the Lord said to Moses, "Write down these words, for in accordance with these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel." 28 Moses was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights without eating bread or drinking water. And he wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant—the Ten Commandments. 29 When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the covenant law in his hands, he was not aware that his face was radiant because he had spoken with the LORD.
When we answer our call of being a Prayer Warrior, the one thing we must first accept & understand, is that we are called to spend a great amount of alone time with God. Our gift makes it so that we delight in prayer. We become so excited, that we create our personal schedule around prayer time. The alone time with God is peaceful, soothing, exhaling, exhilarating, comforting and filled with revelation. Oh yes! My spiritual baby is leaping with just talking about it. The time I actually spend transcribing this God inspired devotional, provides evidence of the power benefited from alone time with God!
A great example of this powerful alone time, can be found in Exodus chapter 3:5, when Moses was at the west side of the desert and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. Moses took off his sandals, for the place where he stood was Holy Ground. Moses hid his face, because he was afraid to look at God.
A relationship with God must grow. An important part of growth is Fasting, which is abstaining from gratification and satisfaction of the flesh. Moses had spent 40 days/40 nights with the Lord, without eating bread and drinking water. This is how pure we should be while in the presence of the Lord.
As prayer warriors our calling is not meant to be glorified unto man but only God! Loud speakers, big announcements, Poster boards, Mirrors every-where and a LOOK AT ME attitude is not an attribute of a prayer warrior. Self has to be movable, because God is unmovable. We must draw nigh to God and not self. We must be focused. The Humility which Jesus exemplified, is the clothing we must wear, over and under our skin.
The closer we become to God, the more radiant our inside and outside become. People will recognize the presence of the Lord moving and working in our life. When fasting, we are to replace the time we use in satisfying the flesh with prayer time. This weakness of our flesh brings strength to us spiritually. We are able to accomplish the impossible when praying in the spirit. God hears us, the Holy spirit moans and groans for us. Hours in the natural spent with God is like being frozen in time spiritually. Just as verse 29 states, Moses had spoken "WITH THE LORD" and not just "TO THE LORD". The definition of "Speak" is to exchange thoughts; talk with.
Moses was praying in the spirit, Moses was writing the ten commandments in the spirit. Moses was talking with the Lord in the spirit. The Lord was speaking back to Moses while he was in the spirit. Fasting enables us to accomplish this wonderful quickening in the spirit. Prayer Warriors learn by reading, writing, watching and praying, while spending time with God "IN THE SPIRIT". Prayer is our tool belt...it loads us up with everything possible for a break-through. The prayer warriors fast is filled with CONVERSATION.

About the Book
While all Christians are to be prayer warriors, there are some people who feel they have a special and unique ability to pray, having been called by God to pray as their special ministry.
To become a warrior in prayer is to engage in spiritual battle and fight the good “fight of faith,” wearing the full armor of God and “pray[ing] in the Spirit” on all occasions, with all kinds of prayers and requests (Ephesians 6:10–18).
The Bible never specifies certain people who are to pray more often, more diligently, or more effectively than other Christians, but there are diligent prayers who are known for their emphasis on prayer.
Paul commands that “requests, prayers, intercession, and thanksgiving be made for everyone” (1 Timothy 2:1), and he says nothing that would indicate some people are exempt from doing so.
All believers in Christ have the Holy Spirit who helps us communicate our prayer requests (Romans 8:26–27).
All believers should be praying in the name of Jesus, which means that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. We trust in Him for everything. This includes His interceding with the Father for us in all things. We should all live and pray in accordance to God’s Will. Praying in Jesus’ name does not mean merely adding “in Jesus’ name” to a prayer. Rather, it means praying in submission toward His Will.
