In the Deepest Part of Me
I felt it in my heart, in the deepest part of me
That part that logic could not penetrate
In the deepest recess, I kept it
They called me a fool, they mocked, they say I’m
just dreaming
But I refused to budge
Who You Are
YOU are awesome
YOU are great
Only YOU are good
YOU are wisdom
YOU are perfection
YOU are the beginning and the end
YOU are my GOD
Oh LORD, YOU Are Beautiful
LORD, I cannot stand before YOU
When I stare into the beauty of who YOU are
My knees buckle and my heart palpitates
My entire being is on pause when I encounter
YOUR grace

Prudence Edwards is originally from Guyana, South America. She is currently living and working in Turks and Caicos Islands. She is a member of the New Testament Church of God. Diary with the Lord is her first book of poems.
