As you have learned through my story, coming to know the Lord is a process. Every person’s path to Him is different.
How old will you be for your reencounter? My suggestion would be, the sooner the better, but we all go through stages in order to grow and learn. Abram was 99 years old when he met the Lord God. It took Moses eighty years to finally come face-to-face with Him. Paul was in his mid-thirties and I was 40 years old when I had my reencounter with the Lord, Jesus Christ.
How will it happen? Only you will know. Abram came face to face with Him (Genesis 18:1–5); Jacob’s reencounter began in a dream and then came through the angel of the Lord (Genesis 28:13–17, 32:24–30) and Moses experienced Him through a burning bush (Exodus 3:2–6).
The list goes on. Jesus’ disciples reencountered Jesus after His resurrection (Luke 24:36–53) while Paul saw the light (literally) on his way to Damascus, and Jesus spoke to Him (Acts 9:3–19).
Perhaps your reencounter will not be like any of these examples—not through a burning bush or a great light or His angel or a thundering voice from heaven. It will come the way God designs it to come.
