What a beautiful day. It is my grandson Jonathans 11th birthday. We will be going to Chucky Cheeses later. Becky says that her husband Peter is at the cabin with Karl. I made pancakes this morning like we always do on Saturdays, and I am finally getting over tummy troubles. I now realize that Gods will for me is doing exactly what I am doing, with thankfulness and praise. He has a purpose for each of our lives wherever we are and whatever our circumstances. He sees through it all. Keep pressing on.

We just watched the movie, Saving Sarah Cain. Three things stood out to me. One: sisters are very important in your life, and their children as well. Two: Family, and going to see them often is important in your life, and third, sharing good times together, and cheesecake (raspberry or chocolate). This was a very personal movie of Amish origin and could be titled “My Redemption.” I cried during the movie.

Happy Birthday to Cassy my first grandchild who turns 17 today and it is on super bowl Sunday. Today is one of the prettiest days ever. Cool and sunny and a great day for walking or reading after church. This is a great uptime today as I am feeling good. We walked around the Mall and I got my watch fixed. Then we ate in the food court with me having pizza, and him a subway. What else. Happy birthday dear Cassy, and have a blessed day. You are our strength from day to day Lord.

Mornings are special occasions. Here I am writing on this gorgeous day. This day feels pretty good after a fitful sleep last night. I got on my computer this morning and read “Brenda’s Blog”. Poor girl lost her husband during Christmas. She is a breast cancer survivor, like I am, and Brenda Coffee’s blogs are terrific. She lives in an old farm house where the windows and doors are the originals. Wherever it is, it gets very cold there. Husband has a doctor appointment this afternoon and I think that I will go with him. “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus” KJV

About the Author
Rosalie Ross is the mother of five daughters and fourteen grandchildren. From Seattle she lives in Houston with her husband John. She taught elementary school for fifteen years after attending college in Bethany, Oklahoma. She enjoys scrapbooking, reading, exercising, photography, and journaling for His glory. She has traveled with her church to Spain, the Holy Land, to Sweden to see her first grandchild, and to Seattle.
