The Joy through pain, his life he knew.
Confined to bed, his place a cell.
His dreams grew bigger with stories yet to tell!
An audience of “Young’uns” sat at his feet.
His desire to encourage made his heart beat!
No Nobler mission on earth was found.
To find God’s joy, through love abound.
Don’t miss the message of this life led.
No peace is permanent without He who bled.

About the Book
This book is a collaboration of love and inspiration between my great-grandfather and me. He provided the inspiration and the drawings, and I wrote the poetry.
About the Author
Wesley has a Masters Degree in Divinity from Emmanuel Theological Seminary, but has worked most of his life in sales and marketing. Married to his wife Carrie, they have one son, Jared and live on an island in Maine.
