God’s Great Design
I may not be a hero, who have saved many lives
I do not own a million and good food is my demise
I am not as smart as Einstein, for many things I have no clue
I am not known by millions, only just a select few.
Mistakes should be my first name, knucklehead my last
Because of the way I live, my whole life should be a fast
Decisions they come quickly before I can comprehend
How I can build a loved one, but another easily offend.
Thank God I don’t compete, ‘cause I’d fail almost every test
I seldom reach the mark even when I try my best
But I am oh so grateful and I’ve had to resign
To believe that I am chosen cause I’m God’s great design.

God’s Great Design
Psalm 139: 14-16 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well. 15 My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. 16 Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them.
Why don’t you always bask in the reality that you are marvelously made?
Do you praise God for making you just the way He did? If you do not, what is preventing you?
Beloved, many of us grapple with the idea that others around us appear to be living their best lives while we are yet to find our purpose. It is not until we realize that we are all created unlike another with uniquely designed paths and experiences that we can begin to fulfill God’s plan in our lives. When we spend time envying another’s life we neglect refining the talents with which God has blessed us. This essentially makes us our own dream snatchers.
Remember that when we evaluate the things we like or not, we should form two categories: Things I can change and things I can’t.
Things I Can - do something about them
Things I Can’t- accept and pray for clarity to decipher why God placed it in your life. Ultimately, God wants what is best for us so He wouldn’t allow anything that would not grow us.
BELIEVE GOD’S WORD BELOVED, YOU WERE WONDERFULLY MADE!! START SEEING YOURSELF AS GOD SEES YOU.
Prayer: With reverence my Great Creator (1 Peter 4:19), I approach your throne of grace, thanking you for designing me in your likeness. I am blessed to have the creator of Heaven and earth, call me beautiful. I do want to start seeing myself not as the world sees my outward appearance with all its perceived flaws, but as you see my innermost being – my heart. Amen
