And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which all so you were called in one body; and be thankful.

Let the Peace of God set your heart to rest in Him. Let him in your life by again giving Him total control. You have the control to make the decision to understand the importance of who you are in God’s kingdom. In His Kingdom you are His child. God cares for you just as a parent will care for their child. When you find the mind to believe that is possible, He will give you rest. What I really hope that you will take from this chapter is how our mind can keep us from walking in peace. You will always have difficult circumstances even though you have been living in peace. Remember that Jesus said in Luke 12:51 “do you suppose I came to bring peace on earth? I tell you not at all, but rather division.” Like he said, we will get sick, cars will break down, kids will upset us, and trouble will always come. The peace you live in can be taken away in a moment. It happens to all of us but how we handle it is determined by our trust in God and faith in how He will deliver us. Determine what takes your peace and deal with it! I you need to speak with someone or write out a plan of action, do it quickly. It is possible to live in God’s peace by accepting His forgiveness and the authority He has over your life.
In accepting Him, you enter into a relationship with God. Talk with Him and He forgives you all things, so go to Him in prayer when you have problems. Feel His presence in whatever way you choose: sit quietly, listen to music, write in a journal, but get close to Him and you will stay in His perfect peace. No matter how large or small you problems, you can worry about them for one minute or one hundred days, and you will likely be in the same place. When you go to God in obedience, you will find the peace above all understanding and that the problem is not so big. His peace will rule your heart and things will also become clear and you will hear Him speak to you, perhaps not in words, but you will know it’s Him.

About the Book
Lucille Booker was a true prayer warrior and an obedient child of God. She ensured her children, grandchildren, and all the people she encountered had a chance to know God. She was fully dedicated to spreading his word, whether in the pulpit or on the radio or street. She was never without a scripture and a word of encouragement and always offered everything with a smile. She served in the ministry for more than fifty years and always trusted in God for everything.
In Find God, Find Peace, author Joyce Green, Lucille’s daughter, pays tribute to her mother’s legacy and her spiritual work. Green shares the lessons she has learned and how she welcomed God to lead her in living every day in his peace. She discusses:

About the Author
Joyce Green has loved God from an early age and continues to serve him and follow his teachings. Her passions are traveling and sharing God’s peace with others. She lived in California with her husband, Michael, for nearly seventeen years. Currently, they make their home in Georgia with their son, Mikey. Green’s vision is to work with women to help them find their peace in God so they can grow stronger in Christ.
