About the Book
When you hear a mourning dove cooing softly in the morning, it might be a reminder of the Holy Spirit, to comfort you.
He is as close as a whisper in your ear. O, my Dove, my Beloved, I trust You, by faith, to be my Comforter and to be with me forever. Breathe your gentleness back into my broken heart and into my dry bones. I lift my head toward the Light, my Jesus, the only one who gave his life for me. I am renewed, equipped and free to tell the story of the journey to heaven, given to me through an abundant treasure of words, like choice pearls of wisdom.
About the Author
Carolyn Burroughs Dixon said good-bye to her 24 yr. old daughter after an automobile accident. Words of poetry began to come to her mind first thing every morning, words that were comforting and healing to her in a time of grief. More than twenty years later, she has put together a collection of these poems, hoping to help others who are grieving. She is happy in God’s blessings in her retirement from office work. She feels that God has brought her to the right place at the right time and the right church. She is enjoying every precious moment she can spend with her son and his family, who live nearby.
