About the Author
Emily B. Mingledorff lives in Waxhaw, NC with her best friend and husband of 24 years. They have 2 adult children serving in the US military, and a middle-schooler at home. Emily has co-written 2 Dove-Award nominated children’s musicals: Christmas in KidCity and Legends of Garner Creek, and she co-wrote the Christian motivational book, Field Presence: It’s not Enough Just to Play the Game. Emily’s career has focused on children’s education in The Church of the Nazarene as well as the public school system for more than 15 years. She currently works with second graders at a National School of Character in NC. She also enjoys writing, speaking, teaching and traveling.
