Last Days Heroes

God doesn't create us without a plan. Every person that he creates and brings into this world is gifted in one way or another, all with the intention of worshiping him and glorifying his name through our gifts, skills and abilities. The question is, will we use those gifts for his will as intended or will we use them to achieve the goals and intentions of the flesh. As much as I love America, I think the idea of the American Dream has caused more harm than good if you're a Christian. Our goal as Christians should never be to build a paradise for ourselves here on earth but to do good with what God has given us to bless others. God is very clear about the importance of putting others above ourselves. You may not realize it, but when you give a meal to someone who is starving, or give a coat to someone who is cold, or visit the elderly in the nursing home that you don't even know, to them you are a hero. Sometimes it's the smallest acts of kindness that can make us a hero in someone else's eyes. And when we do these things for the least of these, we've done it for God, and that's the kind of hero that he is looking for in the last days. Selfless, truth seeking, and full of love, willing to take a stand for him no matter what it may cost. Will you be a last days hero?
