Remembering the Most Basic Principles
First Basic Principle:
You Are Your Most Valuable Financial Asset
Your knowledge, your experience, your craft, and your desire to grow is the biggest asset you have. You have a career before you and future income-producing value in your profession or business. What you achieve in your work or position in life will tell the story. You are your own most valuable financial asset. How you invest in yourself, in your own business or profession will bring you the greatest rate of return provided you are successful. Each year as you improve your craft, your skills, and your business this will ensure a greater financial advantage for your future.
Final Thoughts
At our office, we have developed a unique team to work with our clients. We have both senior and young advisors to work with our clientele that includes a varied age range. Without a doubt, our number one focus is on our client(s). We are extremely excited when we can assist clients to reach their goals and dreams as they approach retirement (rewirement).
We have a strong belief system, too. We believe that every client is important no matter the size of the estate they may have. We also believe very strongly that every client’s estate documents should carry out the goals and dreams that they want those documents to accomplish. Many times we discover with our clients that their current estate plan is not going to carry out their goals and dreams.
I often say, “A small hole can sink a very big ship.” It is our role, as planners, to make sure that our clients know precisely what kind of ship they are sailing in. Whether this involves their estate plan or their financial plan, it is critical that our clients understand where they are going and how they are going to reach their destination.
Our agenda is your agenda—especially when it comes to helping you pass on your estate and its myriad of assets to those you love most. Our team is always excited to sit down with new referrals, too. Nothing makes us more proud than to meet new people who have been referred to us by our clients. Once we discover where our clients’ destination is, then we roll up our sleeves and begin the process of helping those clients reach their goals and dreams. I reiterate that estate and financial planning is a living, breathing, and dynamic experience and unending process. This is why we feel it is extremely important that our clients have annual reviews with us. Clients who do not see the significance of this kind of planning are not the kind of clients we choose to work with.
Whether you choose legacy planning or not we believe that your value system is paramount. We are committed to you and your family and the meaningful relationship that we have together. And if you are married, we know that our greatest work begins with your survivors.
Our own goals and dreams are obviously transparent to our clients. Our clients know unquestionably that our number one goal and dream is to make sure they reach the destination of their dreams. And that is exactly what we want for you as well. Please allow us the great privilege to help you pass on your valuables and your values to those you love most.
Estate and retirement planning, like anything else you accomplish in life, really is a matter of having the right attitude. This kind of long-range planning demands a positive and enthusiastic attitude. It will not happen overnight. You cannot microwave this kind of planning. A lot of thoughts and decisions have to be made. In the end, you will sleep better, feel better, and know that you truly are passing it on...down the road to your children, grandchildren, and the charities of your choice.
As we pass on our values as well as our valuables I want to reiterate that our team focuses on client service. There is not enough kindness in the world that we can extend to our clientele. I assure you the same kindness will be extended to you and your family. Why? Because we want you to see that you can pass on both your values and your valuables to those you cherish most; and this can be accomplished. Make a start today. Believe. Believe. Believe. Please remember there are answers, there is hope for you to establish an efficient estate and retirement plan both for you and for the lasting legacy you will pass on down the road.
I must say, as a team, we have fun working with our clients. We get excited about helping them with their unique goals and dreams that they are enthusiastic about. It is our sincere desire to have the privilege of working with you and those you love most as well. Although long-range planning demands time, money, energy and a lot of tough, stubborn decisions, in the end it is worth your commitment to get your house in order.
I hope in some way through these words that you have been inspired to become proactive in your planning. You can do it! I hope that we will be a part of the team that you choose to help you reach your goals and dreams. Remember, it is all about attitude and emotions for the most part. Take the first step toward establishing an estate and retirement plan and your other steps will follow. Be proactive. I urge you to get your house in order so you too can:
• Invest wisely
• Ask the right questions
• Be debt free
Pass it on...down the road
