Once upon a time in the south part of Italy, lived an interesting looking mouse named Nostril, with a very large nose. In Italy, cheese was the most popular meal to enjoy, along with milk, which was very expensive. All the home owners would be very cautious of who they would welcome in their homes, because cheese was one of their main courses to enjoy.
Home owners and mice alike were crazy about these different types of cheese, especially the Caciocavallo Podolico cheese. Only one man named Mr. Windslow, had that cheese and would rarely share with the rest of the country. Mr. Windslow had a mansion on 52-acres of land, a lot of horses and made people think the cheese was from his own horse’s milk. However, he had five rare Italian breeds of cows called “Podolica” and they would only lactate from May to June. Nostril loved eating cheese and he had his nose to thank for it. Nostril had heard of the rare cheese and figured if he got close enough to the mansion, he would be able to sniff it out, and get a shot of enjoying some of this rare gold dust cheese.
