The Blood of Jesus has brought you who were far away from God near to Him. Sin separated you from the Holy God. Your sins kept you at a long distance from your Father God, but the Precious Blood of Jesus has brought you close to Him. You do not have to fear God. The punishment of your sins has been paid for by the Blood of His Son, Jesus Christ. 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. (New King James Version, Ephesians 2:13). Jesus made a way for you to commune with the Father. You can now sit on your Daddy’s lap, lean on His bosom and gaze into His loveliness. You can gaze into His eyes, the eyes of your Heavenly Father without distress and without dread. He is Love and He loves you. 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (New King James Version, John 3:16). This is God’s desire for the world. How much more for those who have accepted His Son as Lord and Savior. No brother; no sister, fear not. God is good to His sons. He sent Jesus to redeem you back to Him. You are a part of the family of God through Jesus. Through Jesus’ Blood you have the forgiveness of sins in whom you have redemption. You are made new, and you are a new creature by the Power of Jesus’ Blood. “Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins. (King James Version Colossians1:13-14).

There are many voices attempting to communicate with you at any given time. Sometimes they try to speak to you violently. Other times, they try to speak to you softly. No matter how they attempt to communicate, you must use discernment in identifying the speaking voice or voices. In The Voice in the Cup, author Dr. Benedita Monteiro Gomes examines the voices in each cup. Through scripture and personal narrative, she encourages you to communicate and to commune with the voice in the cup of the Lord, the cup of blessings, reconciling you back to the Father into a better relationship and a more intimate fellowship and times of praise and worship with Him. The Voice in the Cup delivers the message that the cup is yours to partake from daily. Jesus shed his blood to purchase you back to the Father from a life of sins. He brought you from the kingdom of darkness into His marvelous kingdom of light.
About the Author
Authors Bio Dr. Benedita Monteiro Gomes is the daughter of João Nepomuceno Gomes and Zuilda Monteiro Gomes. She was born on the island of São Nicolau, Cabo-Verde. She is a mother of three beautiful children-Bonny, Christopher and Bobbie and she is a grandmother to five amazing grandchildren-Jackson, Cazmire, Vida, Christian and Saintil. She is an ordained-pastor, a Spanish/English teacher, adjunt-professor, and a polyglot. She is the Dorchester County Public Schools 2018-2019 Teacher of the Year. Dr. Benedita Monteiro Gomes has travel to over thirty countries to teach, preach and interceed for the nations. She is devoted to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She earned her Doctorate Degree in Biblical Studies from New Life Bible College and Seminary; her M.A. in Teaching English to Students of Other Languages(TESOL) from Salisbury University and B.A. in Spanish from Delaware State University.
