About the Book
This journal is a combination of a guided journal, bullet journal, and devotion all in one. It allows you to track your prayer, gratitude, and testimony for the lent. It will give you more insight into the words by having you answer questions about the Scripture you read. Below is the structure of the daily journal. As you will see, the Holy week is a different format and follows a shorter devotional. Journal daily structure: Day 1: read, write, reflect Day 2: Write the scripture from the NLT or Message Bible (version compare) Day 3: Write a prayer using the scripture as a guide Day 4: Thankful Thursday using your creativity and be thankful Day 5: Bible Study (answer questions about the scripture to gain a deeper understanding.) Day 6: Devotional Day 7: Meditate on the Scripture
About the Author
Reverend Sereta Collington is also known as the journaling Pastor, is the Pastor of Holy Trinity AME Church in Rock Hall, MD, and the author of the Scripture Memorization Journal. Her calling is to teach the Word of God, a mission she incorporates with her passion for journaling. As an acclaimed journaling workshop presenter, she has a Master of Divinity from Knox Theological Seminary; two Bachelor’s degrees: A Bachelor of Arts in Humanities, a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, and a Master of Curriculum and Instruction. For Rev. Sereta, journaling is a form of spiritual discipline; she quotes, “Journaling is a way to hear God.
