There are so many times looking back, and even writing this right now, where I regret what I did. Then I have to think back and ponder on the power of the mind and the condition of the heart. Then I give myself grace, and I forgive myself all over again because this wasn’t something I wanted to do with my life. I didn’t wake up as a little girl and say, “I can’t wait to be a drug addict when I get older.” It was a string of events and circumstances that I let run my decisions—ones that I’m not proud of but ones that I will always learn from. So as I continue this journey, please keep an open mind that this isn’t the end. This is just the beginning.

About the Book
Join me as I tell my life story of childhood trauma that eventually led to my addiction to drugs. I will go into detail about the life of a drug addict with every intention of being as transparent as possible. My story is one of sadness, yes, but also one of hope and encouragement that one can be changed by the grace and goodness of God.
About the Author
Talia experienced a hard life. One of childhood trauma, abuse, neglect and drug abuse. One thing about Talia, she doesn’t want the focus to be on her but what Jesus did for her. He came to her in her darkest moments when she had no hope and no faith and His love, chastisement and conviction changed her life. She wants people to know it wasn’t anything she did, but everything Jesus did. She is just an empty vessel wanting to be used by God. If that means she had to go through everything all over again in order to follow Jesus, she would. A thousand times over. That’s Talia. She is covered in the blood of Jesus, and she is not defined by her past. More importantly, she is unconditionally loved and forgiven by Jesus.
