About the Book
Alex’s journey and the life she has lived have been a story worthy of the big screen. Her narrative is fraught with loss, trauma, and devastation from its meager beginning until this very day. However, she still manages to wear a smile, think of others before herself, encourage those who are in pain and inspire hope and optimism. When her world and the people in it have let her down, she has consistently turned to the only place where her help can truly come from. She speaks to God and He talks right back with a voice so powerful and full of meaning that she cannot contain it. It must come forth from her. It becomes her written words. If you read them, they will become your inspiration and you may find yourself relying on Him more and more, just as He intended.
About the Author
Being assessed as learning-disabled, diagnosed with skin cancer, confirmed to have an enlarged heart, phantom ailments yet to be identified, and told by loved ones that failure was her only option could have caused her to lay down and simply die. But God periodically picks her up out of the misery, puts her on His knee while He whispers in her ear, and stands her up again to share His glory. Alex has written her thoughts and feelings in order to express and process the pain of being written-off, to edify her heavenly Father, and to benefit YOU!
