This book is not a book directed against any church or individuals. However, it is my intention to touch on the personalities and issues that face ministers, congregations and individual members. In this book I will comment on modern leaders briefly, but this book is ultimately not about them. The ultimate focus will be on Church goers and the issues they face and the things I have encountered in my Christian walk. It is also my intent to highlight the minister and his effect on the congregation. Though this book will deal with the worldly view of life and the spiritual side of life. The main point that I want to demonstrate is that everyone has a role to play in this life. There is no place in God’s kingdom for strife makers and those who seek to engage in acts of sin. The bible is a book of love, the central theme is love. Therefore, we are to take a stand against workers of evil and encourage one another to love. When you have love in your heart, your actions reveal it. It is my hope that this book can be an illuminating force to encourage and restore many who may have walked away from Christ. With that said, I hope it can strengthen those who are striving to stay on the right path. Many looks at death as life’s greatest tragedy, but I say a life without Christ and a purpose in life is the ultimate tragedy. To accept Jesus, we must be willing to make a change.
I preach a lot about Change, why because it is inevitable, growth is not. God gives us opportunities to fulfill our purpose, but it is up to us to answer the call. Jesus said behold I stand at the door and knock if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and dine with him, and he with Me. Rev 3:20 nkjv. If you are facing challenges in your life and the problems seem bigger than anything you’ve faced before. Put your faith in God the Father and His Son, Our Lord and Savior. God said in time past in Malachi 3:6 NKJV I am the Lord, I do not change. The Heb. Writer in 13:8 NKJV says Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. I hope you enjoy the uncovering of the problems and issues of our time and their impact on our nation, our culture and perhaps civilization as a whole. For it goes without saying, we are turning away from God to idolatry, we are now embracing moral relativism which is concerned with the differences in moral judgments across different people and cultures which is another way of saying there are no absolutes. Which leads us to apostasy and the total rejection of absolute truth. And this will take us down the path of ancient Israel during the time of the Judges when people did what they thought was right in their own eyes. If God condemned Israel, then He will condemn us as well. For He said I am the Lord, I do not change.
In my writing of this book, I state that man has opinions but the word of God is fact. Yes, the bible is the inspired word of God. Moses many years before the birth of Christ, said this in Deuteronomy 18:15 NKJV. The Lord thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me, unto him you shall hear. David many years before Christ’s crucifixion, described in detail the crucifixion. Isaiah describes in detail certain events about Jesus. Micah names the town in which Jesus would be born all of the these taking place many years before Jesus walked the earth as a man. If you are trusting God for something, don’t give up. It took many years after God told Abraham and Sarah that they would have a child. Before little Isaac was born. Stop focusing on what you can’t do, or what hasn’t happened already in your life. And start focusing on God and what He can do.
