Wake up my child
Take a walk with me
Share a conversation with me
Tell me what troubles you
That keeps you distant from me
Why do you pass judgment upon your life
Condemning yourself
I know your heart
I forgive your sins
I created you for your moment
That the devil is trying to steal
Your troubles are my tears
It pains me that you do not know that I am already here
You act as if my love is gone
That I can’t redeem you from the things you have done
I asked you to walk with me
Put away yourself and follow me
Be who I created you to be
Your burdens I will carry
If you redeem your faith in me

About the Author
Carandus Brown is a devoted man to true Christian principles with hopes to encourage people to find Jesus for themselves. He is a loving husband and blessed father of seven children (6 daughters and 1 son). Carandus is a Minister of the gospel and use his poetry as a teaching method in allowing the Holy Spirit to flow freely. He continues to write uplifting and inspirational poems as the Holy spirit reveals life’s stories.
