It appears since Adam and Eve, man has accepted things and ideas that the people around us and our society have accepted, for no other reason than just because our society has accepted it. Adam ate from the tree because Eve ate and, as a society, we go along with the status quo. We are born followers. (Not a slight against man, just a fact.) We are told, in fact, in no uncertain terms to "Follow Jesus" (Matthew 4:19) because we are followers who need direction.
Problems arise when we follow men instead of Jesus. We follow and we somehow feel that if enough people follow, enough people accept it, and if you do it long enough, it must be right and okay to do. We follow the path that others have blazed, sometimes not even caring about which direction it may take us.

If God's people are The Church and The Church is built on the fact that Jesus is The Christ, The Son of The living God, why then, are there so many different paths leading to the Throne? If there are indeed 41000 different following of Jesus, which one is the One Way?
About the Author
Pastor Kendall L. Hall was raised in a Catholic home and attended Catholic school before following his future bride into a nondenominational charismatic church. He was baptized in an Assembly’s of God Church before becoming a Southern Baptist preacher.
