Thanks Mama you were always there,

Your love is unconditional and you always cared,

You were the first person to comb my hair,

Taught me how to dress, and the right clothes to wear,

You’re certainly more than a mother to me,

My gracious mother you will always be,

You always told me that I could come home,

You never complained when I used your phone,

Thousands of times I would call,

You picked me up when I would fall,

You cooked my first meals, eggs, bacon, and all,

You taught me how to love, and how to pray,

You taught me to live my life the right way.
