NGC: Next Generation Church describes a ground-breaking four-stage evangelism strategy for the western Church. Using the strategy a local church can re-awaken their community to the vital importance and relevance of Christianity. The pool of people interested in Christianity is expanded and the right conditions are created for easy transitions from general conversations to the gospel. The strategy’s first stage exposes communities to biblically founded transformational and counter-cultural solutions to western culture’s deep-seated problems. Referred to as the 12 Reforms these solutions are used to confront what the author calls The Problem; the major anti-Christian forces presently rampaging through the West. Once it is clear interest in these solutions is growing stages 2-3 can be employed. Any conversation can be transitioned to the gospel by introducing the 12 Reforms before taking the conversation to their genesis in the Bible’s five core Christian world view principles. From these two easy transitions it is a short step to stage 4 – the gospel itself, employing any technique and apologetics favored by the evangelist. The NGC strategy aligns any local church with God in an evangelistically motivated love your neighbour, salt and light drive, against the things God says he hates (Pr 6:16-19; Is 59:7-8, 14-16; Ro 12: 2, 9). It also confronts the perverse forces of Man’s fallen, sinful nature and puts Christians in the vanguard of any move to restore the West’s founding Judeo-Christian values.
